Clearer information before important decisions are final.

You do not need to arrive with the problem perfectly defined. Start with a confidential conversation about what is happening, what decision is approaching, and what you are trying to accomplish. From there, the engagement is scoped around the analysis, coordination and next steps that actually matter.

01: Confidential Conversation

We begin with a private conversation about the situation in front of you. What is happening now? What decision are you weighing? What information do you already have? What does a good outcome look like? The purpose is to understand the issue and determine whether Cromwell Wealth Strategies is the right fit.

  • Direct conversation with Chad Cromwell, CPA
  • Business, tax, real estate or financial situation discussed at a high level
  • No requirement to know exactly which service you need
  • Clear decision on whether a deeper review makes sense

02: Focused Review & Analysis

If there is a fit, we define the scope and identify the tax returns, financial statements, bookkeeping records, transaction documents or other information needed to understand the situation. The work may include tax modeling, cash-flow analysis, financial review, ownership or entity considerations, scenario comparisons and coordination with other advisers.

  • Scope agreed before substantive work begins
  • Relevant records reviewed rather than requesting unnecessary documents
  • Tax, cash flow, structure and financial consequences considered together
  • Assumptions and alternatives pressure-tested where useful

03: Clear Recommendations & Next Steps

The objective is a clear understanding of what matters, what should happen next, and what still needs to be resolved. Depending on the engagement, recommendations may be provided in a written summary, planning memo, financial analysis, meeting or coordinated action plan. Where another professional is needed, the relevant questions can be organized so the next conversation is productive.

  • Prioritized recommendations
  • Clear explanation of tradeoffs and assumptions
  • Written summary or analysis when appropriate to the engagement
  • Coordination with attorneys, bookkeepers, lenders, investment professionals or other advisers when needed

04: Ongoing Advisory When Useful

Not every engagement ends after one project. Business owners, real estate investors and families with ongoing complexity may benefit from periodic financial review, tax planning and decision support throughout the year. Recurring advisory is available when it makes sense for the situation; it is not required.

Reason for adding Step 4: The current three-step page implies every engagement ends with a single final plan. The site now includes Business Advisory & Financial Oversight, so the process should also support recurring relationships.

Sensitive financial and business information is handled carefully. If an NDA is appropriate, that can be discussed before detailed confidential information is exchanged.

You work directly with Chad Cromwell, CPA. The person learning the facts is the person helping evaluate the decision.

The scope and fee structure are discussed before substantive work begins. Engagements may be project-based or recurring depending on the situation.

Cromwell Wealth Strategies does not try to replace every professional involved. When legal, investment, lending, valuation or other expertise is needed, the work is coordinated around the questions that matter.

You do not need to prepare a full package before reaching out.

For the first conversation, a concise explanation of the situation is usually enough. If the matter appears to be a fit, we can identify the specific records needed for the next step.

  • What decision or problem is in front of you
  • Any important dates or deadlines
  • The people or entities involved
  • The approximate financial size of the issue if relevant
  • What you are trying to accomplish or avoid
